I'm Alana Cheij and I live in Catonsville, MD with my husband Alex and our two children. I am a native of Nashville, TN and a graduate of Spring Hill College, in Mobile, AL.

Drawn to interior design from a young age, my passion turned into a profession in 2016 when I worked at a wonderful firm in Alexandria, VA. It was there that I learned how to exercise my natural talent for design and gained years of hands on experience.

My family relocated to Catonsville, MD in 2020 and that is when Alana Cheij Interiors was born.

My main focus when working on any project is to create a comfortable and inviting space that reflects each client’s personal style. I like to combine traditional and modern details to achieve a timeless look.

For this teen’s bathroom we chose a beautiful oak vanity, lighted mirror, brushed nickel hardware, and pops of blue throughout. The result is fresh and modern with a hint of coastal.

When the art steals the show ✨ This tall triptych fills the space beautifully in this room. Tall ceilings are pretty but they can make a room feel less cozy and are often hard to decorate, these did just the trick!
This Powder Room just turned out stunning! We added the wainscoting which really elevated the space, new mirror, light, hardware and wallpaper of course!
