Glenelg Music Room

This was one of many projects in this home. These clients bought their dream house five years prior and were finally ready to make it theirs! We painted the entire first floor, along with updating all light fixtures, new stair runner, a powder room renovation and furnishings and finishes throughout the entry, living, dining, breakfast room and this music room.

As you can see, while it’s a lovely space, the before felt very heavy and dated. These clients wanted a fresher more updated feel with a bit of fun and funk! We painted the room a fresh white, lightened the curtains and installed slimmer hardware, along with a new light fixture. We changed the layout to make things more functional, added a rug to ground the space, and threw in a gorgeous rust colored chair in a modern shape to add a little fun. Here is how it turned out!
