Playroom to Formal Dining
This sweet family reached out to me wanting to update their flooring, some light fixtures, and most importantly their dining room. They had been using the dining room (which had carpet!) as a playroom but their children were getting older and it was becoming somewhat of a wasted space at this point. This image shows the before:
Firstly, we removed the carpet and laid hardwood which we refinished on the whole first floor and stained everything to match. We then painted, changed the light fixture, added curtains and all new furniture. It turned out beautiful and hardly recognizable!
In the entryway, which is right off of this dining room, we updated the light fixture and stair runner, both turned out lovely! They are both simple and timeless in the perfect way.
Here you can see two walls flanking the entrance into the kitchen. This was a perfect opportunity to use matching cabinets and it turned out beautiful.
