Frederick Powder

These clients had recently purchased this home and the Powder Room was one of the first projects they wanted to tackle. I LOVE designing Powder Rooms, they are small rooms that can pack a big punch!

Here is our before- the previous homeowners had a mural on the wall that just wasn’t my clients taste so we knew we wanted to change that. We also knew we wanted to pump up the formality of the space. Powders are similar to Dining Rooms in that way- you can go a little formal which can be lovely. To do this, we decide to add wainscoting and wallpaper!

Something you’ll notice in this picture (and no, I am not referring to me in the mirror, ha!) is that there was no vanity light over the mirror. Vanity lights and sconces are like jewelry for your Powder so I knew we needed to add one of those! We also changed the mirror, hardware and fixtures. It turned out simply beautiful, take a look:
